Leo Fresco (Leonardo Beccafichi, born in Città di Castello, 1976) is a towering figure in the Italian music scene, bringing decades of expertise both behind the boards and behind the decks.
Since 2000 he has worked alongside DJ Ralf, and from 2006–2007 he became a constant presence in the productions of Lorenzo Jovanotti — handling pre-production at Karakorum Studios and serving as sound engineer on tour, including the Jova Beach Party. He worked with the legendary Rick Rubin on Jovanotti’s albums Oh, Vita! (2017) and Il disco del sole (2021).
In 2021 he built his own Malkovich Studio in Città di Castello. An exuberant, polyhedric DJ, his selections effortlessly span disco, techno, house and breakbeat. His Bolina debut is the Pavlova EP (BOLINA004).
