This policy explains how personal data is processed when you use bolinarecords.com and place a pre-order. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and supplementary Swedish data-protection legislation.

2. What data we process

  • Pre-order data: your email address and the products and sizes you selected.
  • Order and fulfilment data (only if your pre-order proceeds): name, delivery address in Italy, payment-related correspondence, and the contents of emails exchanged with us.
  • Technical data: strictly necessary technical cookies (see the Cookie Policy). We do not use profiling or marketing cookies.

We do not collect payment card data: no payment is processed through the Site.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Handling your pre-order and contacting you to confirm availability, price, payment and delivery — legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and performance of the contract once concluded).
  • Fulfilling legal obligations, such as accounting and tax record-keeping under the Swedish Accounting Act (bokföringslagen (1999:1078)) — legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Handling complaints, withdrawals and potential legal claims — legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in defending and exercising legal rights).
  • Email marketing (newsletter), if any: only with your prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 19 of the Swedish Marketing Act, marknadsföringslagen (2008:486)), or to existing customers for our own similar products with an easy opt-out in every message. You can withdraw consent or object at any time.

4. Recipients

Your data may be shared with service providers acting as processors on our behalf: our website hosting provider, email provider, and — at fulfilment stage — the shipping carrier delivering to Italy. We do not sell personal data. If a provider is located outside the EU/EEA, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

  • Pre-orders that never become orders: deleted no later than 12 months after the pre-order campaign closes, or earlier on request.
  • Completed orders: contract and correspondence kept for 3 years after delivery (matching the complaint period under konsumentköplagen (2022:260)).
  • Accounting records: kept for 7 years as required by bokföringslagen (1999:1078).
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you (Article 15 GDPR);
  • have inaccurate data rectified (Article 16) and, in certain cases, erased (Article 17);
  • restrict processing (Article 18) and receive your data in a portable format (Article 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to direct marketing at any time (Article 21);
  • withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

7. Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe our processing infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority:
